Data Requests and Account Deletion
How to request access, correction, portability, restriction or deletion of D.O.M. data.
Available requests
Depending on applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy of personal data.
The form on this page creates a case in the D.O.M. request system.
D.O.M. and Chakloon Pass
Deleting a D.O.M. profile does not automatically delete the separate Chakloon Pass account.
A D.O.M. deletion request concerns D.O.M. profile data and D.O.M. service records. Deleting Chakloon Pass is a separate process that may affect access to other services using the same account.
Identity verification
D.O.M. may verify a request through an authenticated session, the email associated with Chakloon Pass or other proportionate information.
Identity documents are requested only when reasonably necessary and should not contain information beyond what is needed for verification.
Response periods
Requests are handled within the period required by applicable law. Where GDPR applies, the usual response period is one month and may be extended where legally permitted, with notice of the extension.
Data export
Where applicable, an export may include structured JSON data, a human-readable inventory and available user-uploaded files in a ZIP package.
Security-sensitive data, internal fraud signals, another person’s data and information protected by law may be omitted or limited.
Deletion effects
Deletion may remove or anonymize the D.O.M. profile and associated active-service data. Some information may remain temporarily or lawfully, including:
- backup copies until the retention cycle ends
- security, fraud-prevention and audit records
- moderation and appeal history
- records required by law or legal claims
- messages or activity forming part of another participant’s lawful history
- financial and donation records where retention is required
- aggregated or anonymized information
Request outcomes
D.O.M. may fulfill a request, fulfill it in part, request verification or clarification, extend the response period where permitted, or refuse a request where law allows.
A response will explain the outcome where required.
